Saturday morning to Dane County Farmers' Market

Even though it was very cloudy and rainy, we headed out Saturday morning to visit the Saturday Dane County Farmers' Market (https://dcfm.org/markets/saturday-on-the-square) on the Capitol Square in downtown Madison.

We parked a block or so away and walked up to the Capitol Square.

It was a little rainy, but there were a good number of folks out...

... with a few umbrellas deployed.

We are trying to be careful about what we're eating (trying to lose a few pounds and keep it off) -- it was VERY hard to resist the cinnamon rolls - but we did it!

Another view of the Capitol Building.

Interesting mushrooms at one of the vendors -- Shitake...

Oyster, and Lions Mane (that looked like cauliflower!)

Interesting gourds at "The Gourd Man"s booth - with long stems/tubes that twisted all around.

Lots and lots of cheese, and cheese bread, and all things cheesy!

We got several fresh vegetables (salad mix, purple kale, swiss chard, cucumbers, broccoli) and are looking forward to enjoying them over the next few days.
