Just some pictures of interesting things we've seen

Yesterday was kind of rainy in the afternoon, so there was a beautiful sunset!

This morning we saw some young men around the VFW post with vests on that said "SWAP". They were doing some yardwork around the area... so I looked up "SWAP Illinois" - it is "Sheriff's Work Alternative Program" in DuPage County (the website I found is for Cook County: https://www.cookcountysheriff.org/cook-county-department-of-corrections/sheriffs-work-alternative-program-s-w-a-p/ but it seems that other counties in Illinois have it too).

I was wondering how the organizations get selected (the Cook County website says "not-for-profit organizations") - maybe there is a application process for the non-profits.

We were at a bank today with Carl's mom and I saw this hand sanitizer on the bank service person's desk (we were in there a long time, and I got bored enough to read the hand sanitizer bottle). Raw Sugar hand sanitizer? I was thinking that it meant that it was made from raw sugar, but... it turns out that is the brand name... (https://rawsugarliving.com/our_products/raw-sugar-hand-sanitizer-coconut-lemon-verbena/). It is however organic and vegan!
