Tuesday - Jee-rage and apartment progress

On Tuesday morning, Carl dropped me off at the apartment soon after 8am and drove to the Jeep repair place in South Elgin.

He took the shuttle from the dealership to Windsor Park. Soon after he got there, Steve and Karen arrived - they thought that since the Jeep wasn't in the parking lot that we had slept in... but called and I let them into the building. They helped with taking down some last things, took several items and headed out. Carl had taken a load of things to his Mom's room earlier in the day, many items she identified that she really did not want or need, so he brought them back to package up to go to Goodwill. We made another trip to her room in the afternoon to take some files that we planned to store in her room rather than carry with us. We ended the day with a trip to Goodwill. We think one more Goodwill trip and then a full load into the Jeep of things that we have to finish working through and we'll be done on Wednesday!

We plan to move to Paul Wolff Campground in Elgin on Wednesday for a few days. We're looking forward to having electric hookups although the weather has cooled off quite a bit and the rig is not too awfully hot when we get back in the evenings. Mainly we're looking forward to a few days with very little scheduled activity to get done!
